Delicious garlicky dip – perfect for Tapas

Costs 32p to make

Aïoli

Put an egg yolk in a bowl (17p)

Whisk up. Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice OR white wine vinegar (1p)

Add 2 minced garlic cloves. Whisk it all up.

Now slowly add 5 tbsps of olive oil (1 tbsp at a time) keep whisking the whole time. (5p)

Now slowly add 5 tbsps of sunflower oil (1 tbsp at a time) again keep whisking. (2p)

It should be nice and thick like mayonnaise! Season with salt and pepper to your liking and if you want it even more garlicky then add another clove.

Pop in the fridge until you’re ready to eat it (preferably within 24 hours)
